Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
Zoit is a drafting workspace that law firms use to prepare documents with their clients. This policy explains what information Zoit holds and how it is used.
What we collect
Account details: your name and email address. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive only your name and email address from them. We never receive your Google or Apple password.
Your work: the matters, drafts, files, remarks and edit history you or your law firm add to Zoit.
Technical data: a sign-in cookie that keeps you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
How we use it
Only to run the service: to sign you in, show you the matters shared with you, record who made which change, and send emails about your matters (such as invitations and updates to the clean draft).
Who can see your information
Each matter is private. It is visible only to the law firm's team members with access to it and to the people the firm has shared it with. The team draft is never shown to clients. We do not sell your information or share it with advertisers.
We use service providers to host the website, store data and send email. They process information only on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep matters and documents for as long as the law firm keeps them in Zoit. When a matter is deleted, its drafts and history are removed.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information by contacting the law firm that invited you.
Contact
